Blakeley Foundation has supported Changing the World by contributing to purchase and freight of goods for the Ukraine, and by supporting of activities of J-1 international students who spend up to three months working on Cape Cod during the summer months.

In addition to its international work, Changing the World runs programs for Human Trafficking Awareness, Mental Health, and International Women’s Day, raising awareness with videos on their website and YouTube.

In their words:

“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Changing the World (@ctwtv), our nonprofit organization, has partnered with charities and individuals to ensure direct help reaches the most vulnerable. Over $45,000 has been distributed to support this mission.

We’ve traveled to Ukraine twice to personally witness and assist those in need—orphans, the injured, and refugees. With your support:

• A van was purchased to deliver humanitarian aid.

• An entire bus was sponsored to evacuate people from danger zones.

• Chaplains, who heroically rescued children and mothers from war zones, received critical support.

Great Awakening Coffee House became a humanitarian hub, serving as a drop-off point for clothing, medical goods, and as a weekly gathering place for refugees who arrived in the United States on refugee visas. We hosted a Ukrainian Thanksgiving, organized a history event about the Pilgrims in Plymouth, obtained ultrasound medical equipment, and raised awareness about Ukraine through various events. Our efforts were featured in NPR and the Cape Cod Times.
